Sign up for HRD beginners' course
Beginners’ course (BeC) starts February 19th and finishes April 16th. This course consists of weekly skating practices, off skates sessions on exercise, rules and game play. We also encourage you to officiate in Sunday practice games. You do not need any experience: just let us know you are interested!

The practice times in a nutshell are:

First Sunday 19.2. at 15-17.30
Sunday 15.30-17.30
Friday 20-22

The times may be subjects to slight changes. The course will actualise only if at least 10 people sign up.

After the course you are ready to join HRD and move on to our Recreational team. Due to the good skating skills and basic knowledge of roller derby gained in our beginners course, you will have a great background for refereeing, or if you just wish to continue skating (with Rebel Rollers or SuomiSk8Fam for example).

Juniors from age 13 up are welcome to the course as well. However, please note that after the course, Helsinki Roller Derby doesn't currently accept new members younger than born in 2007.

Age limit to course: 13
Course costs: 120€
With the course cost you are getting an 8-week beginners' course to quad skating and roller derby and team training time until May 2023.

By filling this form you sign up for the HRD beginners' course for spring 2023. You will receive an automatic confirmation email after you've submitted the form.
The seats are filled in the registration order. If you have registered and are not able to attend, please cancel your registration in advance, as there's often people in queue!
