On Thursday, March 28th at 11:30am on the campus promenade SU staff, graduate and undergraduate student employees, maintenance, food service, and library staff, faculty, students, and community allies are coming together for the SU Rally for Fair Pay and Unions for All.
As SU employees, we support the educational and research mission of SU. We are library workers, administrative assistants, custodians, graduate teaching assistants, food service workers, adjunct faculty, and tenured professors. We care deeply about our students, about our research, and about our colleagues and coworkers. We care about SU and its future. Still, for those of us who have been here for many years, we know that our voices are often unheard on this campus unless we raise them together. Because we need a raise. We need to improve staff retention. We need respect and transparency from the upper administration.
We know that it's only through joining together with our coworkers to form a union and through the process of collective action that we can win these changes. Join us!
