Application: Black Psychedelic Leadership Program (March 14-15 2025)
Program Overview
The goal of this program is to identify and nurture leaders working with Black populations in the psychedelic space, while creating self-sustaining networks and pathways for future generations.
We are bringing together practitioners, healers, organizers, and community leaders who are already working in their communities to:
-
Learn from one another.
-
Gain insights from Black experts on issues directly impacting Black psychedelia.
-
Build new frameworks rooted in ancestral knowledge, community wisdom, and lived experience.
Why This Matters
Most psychedelic research to date has excluded Black participants. The data we have does not reflect the realities, needs, or wisdom of Black people in the United States. That means our understanding of psychedelics and Black communities must come from community knowledge, ancestral practices, and anecdotal experience. This program aims to honor, amplify, and formalize that knowledge.
