Grand Avenue Bridge Detour Planning
The Grand Avenue Bridge across the Colorado River in downtown Glenwood Springs will be closed for replacement from August 14 through December 2017. The detour route will be along Midland Avenue. See the map below for detour details. The bridge closure will impact students, parents, and staff at every school in the Roaring Fork School District.

Extended Hours
We are working to partner with other organizations that may be able to provide early and late supervision and programming for students.  These extended hours would allow parents flexibility in the mornings and afternoons to adjust schedules to help minimize the Glenwood Springs detour impacts.
