2022 Hermanitas Program Leadership Development Registration (Hermana Conference)
On Monday, July 18th, Hermanitas Program Leadership Development - HLEAD will take place all day prior to the official conference opening reception that evening. This will be the most significant update to the Hermanitas curriculum in many years. MANA is able to provide travel and hotel for 1 person from each Chapter to attend this leadership development program. MANA will pay for your hotel room, tax and fees. You will will need to present a credit card at check in for your own incidentals (room service/bar or restaurant expenses/etc.). Meals will be provided during the training and conference. This training is intended for someone in Chapter Leadership with responsibility for administration of the Hermanitas Program (i.e. Hermanitas Coordinator/Director/Assistant, Chapter Board Member). 

There is no fee to attend the program. Participants agree to travel on Sunday, July 17th, as training will begin at 9am on Monday the 18th (after breakfast); and return travel is on the 21st. Please discuss with your Chapter leadership before registering for HLEAD. More individuals from your Chapter may attend, but travel and hotel will be their own responsibility. Participants who receive the travel and hotel accommodations will have the option for a room with 2 queen beds to share with an additional person, if that is desired. This would be a way for a Chapter to send a 2nd participant and save on travel costs.

Program information and itinerary will be sent closer to the date. If you register for HLEAD, you do not need to also register for the Hermana Conference.

Deadline for HLEAD Registration is June 15, 2022. This will allow time for MANA National to schedule travel. You will be sent a travel form to complete so that travel can be purchased and rooms reserved. Please contact Amy Hinojosa with any questions at ahinojosa@hermana.org

Programming outside of the hotel on Wednesday, July 20th will require a significant amount of walking, with opportunity for breaks (transportation will be provided between locations). If you are unable to walk more than a few blocks, or through a museum for example, and need assistance, please explain below so we can provide the appropriate accommodations.
