Did you know that a young Black man was lynched in the Oxon Hill district of Prince George's County Maryland in 1875?  At this presentation, you will learn about Mr. Scott's extrajudicial murder at the hands of a White mob and how racial terror lynchings were used to intimidate the entire Black community.
