American Rescue Plan Act ESSER III Needs Assessment Survey
Sam Rayburn ISD will be applying for a grant known as the American Rescue Plan Act. We would like our stakeholders input in planning how to spend these funds.
The funds are to be spent on the following:
1. Addressing Learning Loss
2. Health & Safety as related to COVID (CDC guidelines)
3. Twenty percent set-aside to address the academic impact of lost instructional time.

To provide students with disabilities various services that were disrupted due to COVID-19
To provide social and emotional/counseling, wellness supports to students and professional development (training) to staff.
To purchase cleaning supplies to sanitize facilities, personal protective equipment and provide staff training on safety procedures.
To provide HVAC/filters and facility updates for cleaner indoor air quality.
To provide technology updates and improve infrastructure and connectivity
To provide an online learning platform and dashboards to ensure educational services can continue during long-term closures.

The United States Department of Education (USDOE) awarded ESSER funds to provide emergency relief funds to address the impact that COVID-19 has had, and continues to have, on elementary and secondary schools across the Nation.
