When?
ReBurn is running from March 30th - April 6th, which includes build and strike, which we would love you (yes you!) to be a part of.
What?
ReBurn isn't an 'officially sanctioned regional burning man event', but it's on the burn directory. So yeah, basically a burn. If you don't know, a burn is a co-created gathering of weird cool people who follow a set of
10 principles which let us host the best events in the world.
Where?
ReBurn is held at a private venue 1h north of Faro and 2.5h from Lisbon in the south of Portugal, where we will be camping surrounded by extraordinary natural beauty. You will get the address once the registration and payment has been completed.
Travel is recommended by Uber to a cafe near the site €50 one way from Faro Airport then we can collect you for a 15 minute off road trip to the site. Small cars will not be able to drive the road.
What to expect?
ReBurn is a beautiful, and VERY rural event on a mountainside on the edge of a lake with VERY limited parking for camper vans. Weather should be around 17-20°C in the day and 8°C at night, so come prepared. This is a co-created event: let us know what you'd like to bring, and we'll help it happen. You bring the vibes!
There will be frolics a-plenty, from face painting and slack lining to mad skanking (dancing) and setting fire to things. Laughing, silliness, hiking, archery, swimming, fire heated soaking tubs & fire breathing (literally). There will be music and craziness, but a much bigger focus on firemaking, breathwork, outdoor cooking, and all that wholesomeness. We strive to be a family-friendly event, which means that late night music will be restricted to certain spaces and volumes.
Radical self-reliance is important here. Bring your tent, your music, your party supplies.
Fees
Membership is £150 (about 170€), reduced memberships available for locals and low-income burners.
We're running a deficit, so any extras for our communal food & van pickups will be greatly appreciated!
