2022-2023 Staff Training and Programs for Afterschool Environmental Clubs
Stroud Water Research Center, Let's Go Outdoors and partners will support staff in leading environmental and outdoor afterschool clubs/programs. This program can support 10 afterschool program sites for the school year. 1-4 staff at each afterschool site may participate in the training program. Staff at each afterschool site may also take turns as needed.

Training Provided:
Initial 18 hour summer institute (August 9, 10, & 11).
Monthly support meetings (Zoom).
14 onsite E-STEM experiences led by project partners during after-school time for each club.
1 offsite field experience led by Let’s Go Outdoors for each after-school club to participate in.
Environmental Club Resources Kits (~$2,000 worth of instructional supplies).
Culminating summer institute (after the school year in June).
Act 48 Professional Development Hours for teachers will be provided for the training and support time.

Expectations:
Commitment to the program cohort for the full school year.
