SWAP MEET Workshop Proposal
On Sunday, May 15, the SWAP Meet will focus on sharing examples of student leadership at each school. Please consider organizing a 45-60 minute "hands-on" workshop that teaches a skill or activity your school has successfully implemented to reduce waste. Examples might include a reuse workshop where participants make bags from used t-shirts, a Repair-It/Wear It workshop where participants learn to mend clothing; a Recycling Relay game showing how your school taught people to sort waste at lunch. Workshops should include an ACTIVITY that participants might take back to their own schools. If you'd like help preparing your workshop, please contact Nate Ivy at the Alameda County Office of Education.
