2026 Executive Director Application Form
Thank you for your interest in the role of Executive Director for the Data Visualization Society (DVS)! The goal of the Executive Director is to ensure DVS maintains alignment with its strategic goals and values. The Executive Director is the organization's official representative, serves as chief liaison with the Advisory Committee, and supports the Board members to do their best work. We encourage you to read the full Executive Director description prior to applying.  Please note that this is a mid-term appointment position that will end in December 2026.  

Eligibility
Applicants must be DVS Plus Members in order to be eligible to apply to serve on the Board of Directors. If you have any questions about your membership status, please contact our Membership Director Alexandra Rohlfs at membership@datavisualizationsociety.org.

Process & Timeline

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and appointments will be made by Board action rather than through the slating process. Successful applicants will be contacted on a rolling basis to arrange an interview.
