2016 Vendor Application

The Laurelhurst School Winter Bazaar is an annual fundraiser held at and for the Laurelhurst School. The Bazaar focuses on supporting local artisans and businesses while raising funds for our local public school, Laurelhurst School.

We pride ourselves on showcasing high quality artists and providing a supportive and beneficial juried show for our vendors. Your registration fee will be used to market the show through a wide variety of sources including newspapers, mailers, yard signs, door hangers and targeted email campaigns. Postcards will be available for you to distribute upon request.

    Show: Sunday, December 4, 2016 from 9am until 4pm (NO early breakdown) Setup: 7am until 8:45am

    Laurelhurst School: 840 NE 41st Avenue, Portland, OR 97232

    Registration Fee & Payments

    Vendors: $125 flat registration fee. (NO percentages of sales required) Student Vendors: $20 flat registration fee Please do not send payment at this time. If you are notified of acceptance, payments will be due by Tuesday, November 1, 2016. If payment is not received by November 1 your spot will be given to the next person in line. Payments must be made by check. Further details will be included in acceptance letters. Registration includes one approximately 8’ x 4’ space. Vendors, including students, must supply their own tables and all set-up materials. Please submit this registration form and images by the priority deadline of September 25th. This is a juried event and all applicants will be notified of acceptance by October 12th. Information packets will be distributed at that time.

    Advertising Information

    We use many forms of advertising for our event including, but not limited to: newspaper advertisements, community calendars, Facebook, Twitter, blog posts, email marketing campaigns and postcard mailers. Please include below ONLY information you would like published. This is not a guarantee that your business will be promoted in these ways. We do our best to highlight everyone we can.

    Use of Images

    Vendors give permission to the Laurelhurst PTA to use digital image(s) in web and print media to promote this and/or future occurrences of the event.

    Vendor Disclaimer

    The vendor, by submitting an application, agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Laurelhurst PTA from and against any and all claims, demands or expenses (including attorneys fees) for libel, slander, invasion of privacy, infringement of copyright, personal injury, damages, or any other claims, demand or expenses resulting from the vendor’s performance in connection with this agreement. The Laurelhurst PTA, or anyone acting on its behalf, assumes no responsibility for loss or damage to your belongings. It is recommended that vendors carry liability insurance.
