Please no more than 250 word count.

Web Link to Find 5-10-minute (or more) performing sample(s)?
Do you have a video on your website, on YouTube, or anywhere else online for easy access for our committee to review?
Do you need to connect with a professional storyteller to merge with your performance and bring out the story part more? *
We can connect you with a professional storyteller. You could meet, discuss, and create a story piece together. Your proposed story piece could be one in process as long as we see a video of it later on by February 2019. Feel free to email storycrossroads@gmail.com or call Rachel Hedman at (801) 870-5799 if you want ideas on some ways to merge spoken storytelling with already-established performances.
What is the copyright status of your story piece? *
Choose the statement that is true about the copyright situation of your proposed story piece.
What is your proposed story performance like? *
Some level of spoken storytelling is required even if this has yet to be worked out for how you usually perform. Check all that apply. Choose at least one.
Give more details on how your story fits the area(s) of the previous question. Explain how you use (or plan to use) spoken storytelling as part of the overall performance. *
Please no more than 500 word count - You could share specific language(s), name the culture(s), type(s) of music, etc. Will you go back and forth with telling stories and then moving onto another performance art? A story is more than cultural background or an introduction. A story needs to have conflict or a plot with an obvious beginning and ending. For example, a music group could play music from a certain part of the world and then follow it by someone telling a folktale from that same part of the world.
What stage requirements do you need? What stage details would be ideal? *
Let us know the size of the stage that works best for you. Share any technical or stage details that allows you to present your best work as proposed in this application. Do you only need a microphone? What kind of microphone is preferred? Any interpretation? Please make it clear what is needed versus what is ideal.
For a 15-minute spot we will pay $100. Please share your normal rate and what that would mean in our planning to feature you. *
Though most story artists will receive that flat payment, we understand that there are people who travel the country or world and charge more. Please educate us as to your rates. Would travel, hospitality, or other costs need to be considered?
I have read and marked the copyright information and this form, understand them, and intend them to be binding instruments. *
