TCL organizing team is pleased to announce the TCL- 2024 Season. We will continue to promote Tennis Ball Cricket in the region year after year with your help and cooperation. We hope that most of the teams that played last year will continue playing in 2024 and we are expecting to welcome some new teams to the League.
Based on the ground availability and logistics involved in organizing this tournament, we are limiting the number of teams playing in TCL 2024 to 50. Entry is on a First come First serve basis. Any teams that sign up after the first 50 will be placed on a waitlist and may be accommodated based on additional field availability. If these teams can not be accommodated, we will refund the money paid by them.
This announcement is only for the Spring/Summer (Main) Tournament. We will send a separate announcement for the Seniors League and decide around June about the fall tournament (Fireworks or something similar).
Format: TBD, We may decide to do the similar format like last year with two tiers.
Tier -1 (Winners cash Prize - $2,100, Runners cash Prize - $1,400, and Trophies)
Tier -2 (Trophies only)
Main Tournament Dates /Duration : Starts late April/Early May, 2024 with desired targeted completion by End of August to allow enough time for second short tournament (i.e. Fireworks or equivalent).
Our goal is to provide 10+ games per team in the First Round. However as we have teams sign up we can firm the schedule up.
No games on the Long Weekends i.e. Memorial day, Independence day and Labor day.
Tournament Fees and Other Information: $850 ( Includes Grounds Fees & Insurance for grounds, Game Balls and Umpiring fees for PLAYOFF Games ONLY )
What changed this year: For League games, each team will pay umpire ($30 per game i.e. $15 each Team) directly. More on this will be discussed in kick-off.
SPECIAL NOTE: Teams that paid advance $1500 (A BIG THANK YOU!!) last year for Phoenixville Fields Upgrades
Pay $350 by registration deadline to complete registration for 2024
Team will have a carry forward of $500 towards 2025 registration fees.

Tournament Fees are Due by March 9th, 2024:
First 20 spots are already reserved for the teams that made advanced payment in 2023. If they fail to make remainder fees by deadline then their spot will be awarded to the waitlisted team(s). $500 of their portion of this year’s advanced payment will be refunded. They will still have a reserved spot for 2025.
Rest of the spots in the tournament are on a first come first serve basis (With confirmed payment)
There will be a late charge of $50 if Payments are made after the due date, provided there are available spots.
Payment Options : You must mention your team name in the Comments section of the Payment.
Season Kick-Off meeting: 16th March (Saturday). More to come on this. Stay tuned …….
The groups will be created based on the draw in the kickoff meeting and schedule template will be filled after the kick off meeting conclusion.
IMPORTANT: We will need at least one representative from each team to attend the kickoff meeting.
TCL is a non-profit organization If your company has a gift matching program, please submit a gift match application. This will benefit League as well as Teams as all the money collected is used towards promoting Cricket.
