Who can come for Balik Chek Jawa?Anyone! Everyone! All are welcome. Especially families and kids.
Is registration required?No. Simply come to Chek Jawa, meet at the Chek Jawa Info Kiosk, on 5 Jun (Sun) from 9am to 12noon.

Is Chek Jawa stroller/wheelchair friendly?While the boardwalk is stroller friendly, there are unpaved dirt tracks on some steep slopes to get there and back.
What should I wear?Wear light breatheable clothing, comfortable walking shoes, bring a hat and rain poncho or umbrella.
What facilities are at Chek Jawa?There are public toilets (non-potable water) and drinks vending machines.
Will there be mosquitoes?Yes, some parts of the boardwalk may have many mosquitoes. Spray on repellent is effective. Also effective are long pants and long sleeved shirt.
Will we be going down to the seashore?No, we will not. Our activities will only be on the boardwalk. You will not get your feet wet!
Will we see marine life?Yes, we will! The guides will point out all kinds of interesting marine life.
How will the tide be on that day?The tide will be high. This is the best conditions for spotting fish and possibly otters. A dugong was once sighted at the Chek Jawa boardwalk during high tide!
What happens if it rains?We will be there rain or shine! So bring your wet weather gear (and your sun gear) and join us!
