The Center for Community Engagement will register your students to vote! The CCE coordinates a nationally recognized, nonpartisan student voting program that has led to steady increases in student voter turnout.
A standard class presentation will take around 15-20 minutes and includes registering your students to vote, explaining the absentee ballot process, and answering questions about student voting rights and responsibilities. We also offer a voter education presentation that is more focused on civics education for students who are already registered to vote. Our presentations can be adapted to shorter time slots to best meet the needs of your class or group.
The 2026 New York General Election Tuesday, November 3. The voter registration deadline is Saturday, October 24. Please submit your requests early to help us accommodate as many classes and student groups as possible. After submitting the form, a member of our team will follow up to confirm your presentation date and time.
Students, faculty and staff are also welcome to stop by the CCE in UU-137 between 9am-4pm Monday-Friday for assistance with the voter registration process. For more information contact us at
cce@binghamton.edu.
This request form will remain open until October 4, 2026.
**If you teach multiple courses please submit a separate form for each course.**
