Local Yuma Participation
Thank you for your interest in participating in the Yuma County Chamber of Commerce's Shop Local, Eat Local, Spend Local, Enjoy Local campaign.
How does it work? People who make purchases with participating businesses can upload their receipts to a special website that is being created for this campaign. At the end of each month, everyone who uploaded a receipt will be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift certificate to the participating business of their choice.
Who can participate? Local businesses within Yuma County who were adversely affected by the pandemic are eligible to participate regardless of size. Businesses who were not adversely affected may participate if they have fewer than 50 employees. Unlike typical Shop Local campaigns, this one is not just for retail. Local nonprofits, gyms, restaurants, movie theaters, attractions, and services can participate as long as you are able to provide a receipt to the customer for goods or services purchased or financial donations made.
How can my business participate? Simply fill out the form below. Once the campaign is set to begin, our staff from the Yuma County Chamber of Commerce will contact you to arrange for pickup or delivery of your campaign materials which may include a poster, vinyl cling, and/or handouts to give to your customers so they know where to upload the receipts.
I'm a member of the Chamber. Do I receive any extra benefits? Chamber members will be highlighted on the campaign website and receipts submitted from Chamber members will be worth two entries for the drawing instead of just one. In addition, Chamber members who note they were adversely affected by the pandemic may be selected to be one of our weekly featured businesses with additional promotion on the campaign website, the Chamber's social media sites, and the Chamber Chatter radio show.
What else should I know? By participating in the campaign, you do agree to display campaign materials in a prominent location in your business and provide a receipt that denotes the name of your business to customers. For nonprofits, receipts for entry fees for attractions or receipts for cash donations will be eligible. Sponsorships, in-kind, and material or other donations are not eligible.
