Member Code of Conduct
By becoming a member of Indivisible Las Vegas, every member agrees to the following: *
  1. Treat other members with courtesy and respect at all times.
  2. Members are encouraged to identify themselves as members of ILV when it’s appropriate but should not speak on behalf of the group unless previously authorized by the Steering Committee.
  3. Attend regularly scheduled meetings as often as possible.
  4. Join at least one committee – many hands make light work.
  5. Stay on topic during meetings and remember that the bulk of our work is based on the work and guidance of Indivisible.org
  6. When representing Indivisible Las Vegas, do so in a manner that aligns with our mission and values.
  7. Support each other during this extremely distressing chapter of our lives.
  8. Bring concerns or grievances to your team leader if your issue is related to your committee work.
  9. Bring concerns or grievances to the Steering Committee if your issue is general to the organization itself. Indivisible Las Vegas bi-monthly meetings are not the time to air your grievances – verbally or in the chat.
  10. Be considerate of other people’s time during group meetings. Keep your comments relevant to the topic being discussed and limit your speaking time to 90 seconds or less so everyone has a chance to speak.
