I understand that participation in activities at Banana Leaf Farms may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to physical activity, use of tools or equipment, interaction with animals, food preparation, outdoor environmental conditions, and exposure to insects, including bees.
I acknowledge that bee stings may occur during outdoor activities and that bee stings can cause an allergic reaction; including severe or life‑threatening anaphylactic shock. I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
I understand that Banana Leaf Farms maintains an emergency kit on site but does not provide medical care. I am responsible for carrying and managing my own emergency medications, if applicable. In the event of an emergency, I authorize Banana Leaf Farms to contact emergency services (911). Any assistance provided is given voluntarily and in good faith.
I agree that Banana Leaf Farms, its directors and volunteers are not responsible or liable for injuries, illnesses, allergic reactions, or damages that may occur as a result of my participation, except as required by law.
I grant permission for Banana Leaf Farms to use photographs or video taken during activities for educational or promotional purposes.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California.
