We appreciate a 6 month-1 year commitment, a minimum of three days on-call each month, and one hour-long advocate meeting each month which will include some weekends and holidays. VPC understands our advocates may need to take a break or time away from volunteering. How much time are you looking to contribute to the Violence Prevention Center in your role as a Volunteer Advocate?

There is a volunteer advocate screening process, 40 hour training before becoming an advocate, and an ongoing meeting each month (focused on continuing education, building support, and processing calls received).
