Business Achievement Awards (BAA) is an individual project available for all members that teaches you about FBLA, and develops your skills as an exemplary member of the organization.
BAA consists of four levels: Future, Business, Leader, and America. All members must begin with Future, then advance to the next level in the order they are listed. Generally, members complete one level each year. However, it is possible to complete multiple levels in one year.
Completing a level of BAA qualifies you to receive an official FBLA pin corresponding to the level you have completed, which is a national recognition. You may wear these pins to conferences that our chapter attends.
In addition, completing Future is recognized at our chapter meetings, completing Business is recognized at the Bay Section Leadership Conference, completing Leader is recognized at the State Leadership Conference, and completing America is recognized at the National Leadership Conference.
Each level of BAA contains three sections to complete: Service, Education, and Progress. Each of these sections have a list of activities you may choose from for project completion. You will have five weeks to complete each section. Members attempting the America level of BAA will have an additional month to complete the project.
Applications are due on Oct. 11, 2018. Be sure to encourage your friends to sign-up as well! There will be several pizza party socials for those who join!
