Your voice matters – PINS project. This Parent and Carer Survey is a chance to share your views and experiences as part of the Partnership for Inclusion of Neurodiversity in Schools (PINS) programme*. This survey will be open for 2 weeks.
Why this survey matters. The PINS project aims to make mainstream schools more inclusive and supportive for children with additional educational needs. Your feedback will help us understand what schools are doing well and where improvements could be made.
Who can take part:The survey is for all parents and carers with children at schools participating in the PINS project. Your child does not need to have a diagnosis or be waiting for assessment, we want to hear from everyone! If you have more than one child at the school, you are welcome to complete a separate survey for each child.
How your information will be used:All responses will be kept confidential and secure, in line with GDPR legislation. Only the BANES Parent Carer Forum will have access to individual responses. These will not be shared with schools or other partners.
A generalised summary of the main themes from the survey will be shared with your school and the PINS partners: NHS England, the Department for Education, and the NNPCF. Great care is taken to ensure that it is not possible to identify individuals from this summary. The only time personal information would be shared is if a response raises a safeguarding concern.
Important to note:Because the survey is anonymous it cannot be used to raise individual concerns about your child or their school and it is not a way to report safeguarding concerns. If you have a safeguarding concern about your child or another child, please contact your school’s Designated Safeguarding Lead and follow your school’s or local area’s safeguarding procedures.
*This project is funded by NHS England and delivered in partnership with the Department for Education, the Department of Health and Social Care, and the National Network of Parent Carer Forums (NNPCF).
