Every month Winston-Salem Black Chamber of Commerce, the Chronicle, Small Business Center at Forsyth Tech, Triad Minority Business Expo and the Winston-Salem Urban League present the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County business of the month.

Please note that our general criteria is as follows. Generally, successful applicants must be:

- For profit businesses;
- Have headquarters located in Forsyth County; and
- Fewer than 25 employees.

Please note that applications are valid for 12 months. All questions must be answered.

Successful applicants receive the following:

- Interview/Article in The Chronicle;
- Social Media promotion;
- Newsletter promotion (Chronicle, Urban League, Black Chamber, Small Business Center); and
- Access to Small Business Center services.
