Description of Work
We will be
partnering with the Snoqualmie District Wildlife Biologist, Kurt Aluzas, for
work cutting and piling small trees to keep the regeneration under control in
units designed for Elk Forage (EFU 20) and also prepping for another future
burn cycle. Work would involve loppers and handsaws. We are hoping to host both Master Hunters and Ruffed Grouse Society on the same day.

Meet at 8:30 AM at the
Naches
Tavern gravel parking area off the 410 HWY. We will then drive to our site location (EFU 20) for the day, we will break for lunch around 12:00 then work until about 2:00 or when folks are ready to be done.
Please come prepared for heat & hope for cooler temps!
Wear closed toed shoes and (cool) long sleeves and pants. We will have tools and gloves for volunteers.
CNW will bring sandwiches and feed volunteers lunch.
