Conservation NW -  Saturday June 22nd  Greenwater, WA - Elk Forage Work Party - RSVP

Description of Work

We will be partnering with the Snoqualmie District Wildlife Biologist, Kurt Aluzas, for work cutting and piling small trees to keep the regeneration under control in units designed for Elk Forage (EFU 20) and also prepping for another future burn cycle.  Work would involve loppers and handsaws. We are hoping to host both Master Hunters and Ruffed Grouse Society on the same day.

Date Time Location
Saturday June 22nd
Meet at 8:30 AM at the Naches Tavern gravel parking area off the 410 HWY. We will then drive to our site location (EFU 20) for the day, we will break for lunch around 12:00 then work until about 2:00 or when folks are ready to be done.

Please come prepared for heat & hope for cooler temps!
Wear closed toed shoes and (cool) long sleeves and pants. We will have tools and gloves for volunteers.
