This webinar aims to demystify Six Sigma by clarifying its meaning within an organizational context. It will explore how Six Sigma is used as a problem-solving methodology, a metric for measuring quality, and a management philosophy. Mr Bachik Hussain is a highly accomplished leader with over 25 years of experience in the electronics manufacturing industry and currently serves as the Senior Industrial Engineering and Automation Manager at Sanmina Penang Plant II. He oversees the Industrial Engineering Department, driving capacity planning, production line optimization, work study analysis, and continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Additionally, he manages the full lifecycle of customized automation solutions, from defining business requirements to design, implementation, and maintenance of robotics and machine vision systems. Previously, he held leadership roles at Motorola Solutions, specializing in Surface Mount Technology and cost reduction initiatives. A certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Bachik holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from UTM and a Master of Science in Manufacturing from USM.
