- Where we meet: On Zoom, with in person option available on request.
- Why we meet: A truly vibrant life is integrated. An integrated life faith brings together the whole of all we are and do in such a way that every aspect (home, church, work, school etc) reflects it. Part of this integration involves the tending to and nurturing the whole of our beings: body, mind and soul. Guess we can call it "Whole-iness! Our Faith & Fitness group brings together women desiring to grow in faith while also growing in the art of coming closer to this integration while enjoying the beauty and joy of community, in sisterhood. \
What we do: - SoulCore prayer (see FAQs link below) plus other activities as members suggest that integrate faith with fitness in various ways, accompanied by sharing.
- Other forms of group prayer including prayer power walks
- Mini Pilgrimages (visit other parishes and related spots in our Archdiocese)
- Group attendance to enrichment / formation events & retreats as group decides
- Sharing information on wellness topics
- Girl time!
- More (your ideas here! _______)
*What is SoulCore: In short, it's an intersection between spiritual and physical discipline via the integration of prayer & exercise. We pray the rosary and share reflections geared towards helping us grow in the virtues proposed by each mystery, while doing
optional gentle stretching & core strengthening exercises, noting that the
focus is on the prayers & therefore everyone is welcome regardless of whether they want to join in the exercises or not.
