Mentoring Workshop - Registration Form

The United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) will organize a mentoring session focused on the application process and guidelines for the 2027–2028 Fulbright-Nehru Fellowships. As part of the session, a Fulbright-Nehru alumna/alumnus will share insights into their application journey, research experience, and cultural engagement in the United States, highlighting the fellowship’s impact on their academic and professional development.

Participants: This workshop is intended for outstanding PhD scholars, researchers, faculty members, and professionals seeking short-term research or teaching opportunities in the United States in eligible disciplines.

The eligible fields for the 2027–28 Fulbright-Nehru Fellowships are listed below.

Critical Minerals and Supply Chains: Geology, Materials Science, and Mining Engineering

Defense and Security: Cybersecurity, Aerospace Engineering, and Robotics and Autonomous Systems

Energy Security: Energy Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, and Energy Innovation and Technology Commercialization

Science and Research Collaboration: Bioengineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Semiconductor Engineering

Space Cooperation: Astrophysics, Planetary Science, Space Systems Engineering, and Satellite Communications

Technology and Innovation: Data Science, Quantum Computing, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Participation is free, but advance registration is required. Please register only if you are certain of attending. 

Kindly note that USIEF does not cover travel or accommodation expenses for participants.
