The Music Center, Grand Park, and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power collaborate to offer Downtown L.A.’s residents, workers, and visitor’s ways to live clean and go green with a free all-ages event. Attendees will discover energy efficiency and water conservation displays; sustainable gardening tours; composting, electric and solar vehicle demonstrations, tree giveaways, recycled art projects, E-waste drop-off, fitness and yoga classes, and the opportunity to eat lunch and enjoy a walk-through of Grand Park’s sustainable landscaping.

Due to the large amount of school groups in attendance, we encourage vendors to provide activations for youth ages 5- 12. Activities must relate to the theme of Earth Day, specifically, educating young Angelenos about to participate in a healthy planet. See section 2 for details.
