Kentucky Resources Council is proud to present the first Kentucky Environmental Leadership Institute (KELI) workshop for beginner environmental activists! This workshop is designed for those who are eager to learn more about how to advocate for the places they live and love.

Topics Include:
-A Brief History of Environmental Justice
-How to Monitor Threats to Community Health, Environment, and Safety
-How to Gather Information about Proposed/In-progress Projects
-How to Get Involved in the Decision-Making Process

This session will include tailored information about how to get involved at the local level. The ideal student for this specific session would be a Jefferson County resident who is beginning to learn more about community activism to advance environmental issues.

Future sessions with tailored information about additional Kentucky localities will be held at a later time.
