ABOUT US
The ReWA (Refugee Women's Alliance) Youth Summer Program offers elementary and middle school students from refugee and immigrant backgrounds a culturally responsive STEAM curriculum (science, technology, engineering, art, and math). This program provides a supportive space for kids to recognize their own incredible worth, build confidence in speaking English, and connect with others who share similar experiences. Through engaging STEAM activities, students explore coding and robotics using color and pattern, combining play, exploration, and relationship-building. Our vision is for students to be happy, engaged, and having fun while learning through high-quality programming that meets their academic, social, emotional, and physical needs.
