FMB Volunteer Signup - 2019 Cottonwood Planting
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Friends of the Missouri Breaks Monument (FMB)! The 2019 cottonwood planting will be on Saturday, October 19th. Please fill out the form below to volunteer.
We will be meeting at Decision Point at 9am. Gloves, shovels, water, and lunch will be provided. However, if you have your own gloves it is recommended to bring them.
Volunteers are encouraged to bring the following: water bottle, sunscreen, hat, layers of clothing (it may be chilly!)
We will plant 100 cottonwood trees and create some cottonwood enclosures to protect young, naturally-growing cottonwoods from being eaten by wildlife. We expect to be done planting no later than 5pm, but may be done earlier.
Please submit this form no later than Friday, October 13th so that we have an idea of how many sandwiches that B Social Bowling needs to prepare. Email
with any questions, and thank you again!
Will you be attending the cottonwood planting held on Saturday, October 19?
No, but I am interested in helping out in other ways (donations, shuttling people to the site, etc.)
Are you registering as a group or individual?
If registering for a group, what is the name of your group leader?
If registering for a group, are there any children (under 18) present? If so, please indicate their ages.
Can you provide your own transportation to Fort Benton, Montana?
No--I need help finding someone to carpool with. (Email
if this is the case.)
