PAUSE Community Support Group Registration
PAUSE will offer a safe space where young people can talk about their mental health and find support in a community of peers who can relate to their challenges and celebrate their successes.

PAUSE meetings are:
  • Confidential
  • Conducted by two peer trained NAMIYA facilitators
  • Composed of a small group of students
  • Offered free of charge

National Alliance on Mental Illness York-Adams Counties ("NAMIYA") is the local affiliate of the nation's largest grass roots mental health organization.

We emphasize the benefits of sharing the "lived experience" of individuals living with mental illness as well as those of their family and friends. NAMIYA does not provide therapeutic or clinical interventions. The information and resources provided by NAMIYA are not intended as a substitute for professional advice. NAMIYA encourages individuals and families to seek the advice of professional service providers as indicated by their individual situations. NAMIYA offers the PAUSE program as a supplemental addition to your school system's ongoing mental health initiatives.

NAMIYA is committed to the belief that anyone can work to improve their mental health at any time.
