Alumni Band History
The Alexandria Alumni Band has appeared five times in the past. The first time was in 1994 as part of the Vikingland Band Festival's 10th Anniversary. The band returned in 2001 by popular demand from alumni members who were itching to do it again. We're now gathering every five years, and marched in 2004, 2009 and 2014. In 2019 we will march to celebrate the 35th year of the Vikingland Band Festival! It has become a great tradition. In 2004 band members came from 13 states and represented 28 graduating classes from 1961-2004!
