- Each day participants will participate in a combination of parkour training and group work to complete milestones in SportsLab, a project-based sport research and design challenge created by EdGE, the Educational Gaming Environments group at TERC.
- SportsLab is a collection of online and real world experiences for uncovering the STEAM connections between sport shoe design, sport research and design thinking. Moving through a series of Milestones, players explore sports research and design thinking, conduct hands-on activities that apply the concepts introduced on-line, and ultimately create deliverables to upload and enter in the Parkour Shoe Design Challenge with prizes from Nike.
- Parkour training will take place in the “Parkour Zone” at BKB Somerville and group work will be hosted nearby at Canopy City.
