This programme will include spending some time on basic bushcraft skills such as fire lighting, knife skills and foraging. We will hone our naturalist skills including plant ID, tracking and animal behaviour. We will explore our connection to the land and to each other in a playful way, through games, stories and crafts. We will use all of our senses for deep nature connection practices. This programme will be skills based, with each day focussing on one skill that we think might interest you. However there will still be plenty of time and space for sit spots, wanders and games. Nature connection will be woven through everything we do. The Elderberry programme is an opportunity to step away from your usual routine, to relax, breathe and learn something new surrounded by beautiful Wicklow woodlands.
