ABOUT TRAINING:
Often overwhelmed by our ministry demands, many Christian leaders have little time for intentional apprenticeship related to ongoing spiritual revitalization in their own lives or local ministry contexts where they live and serve. Others don't know where to start. This is why we are putting together our very first Renewal Mentorship Cohort developed for Christian leaders, missionaries, elders, marketplace Christians, ‘lay’ people, core volunteers, Pastors or anyone seeking foundational principles for personal, Church and community renewal. The goal is to renew our churches/ministries and communities by first renewing the Christian volunteers, pastors and leaders that serve in those contexts.
SESSION DETAILS
This online (zoom) training course will have both theory (going into the Bible to learn together) and interactive & practical dimensions (group discussions, hearing stories and case studies, times of Q&A).
A. Six Main/Plenary Sessions (online):
This training cohort will run every other Monday beginning on May 1st, 2023 For residents in Canada/ North America (EST time zone) and Monday, May 8th, 2023 for residents in Ghana/ UK (GMT time zone). Each session begins at 7pm.

Instructors
Jervis Djokoto, (Author of Re:New, Executive Director of Renew Movement, Canada) is teaming up with other guest instructors from Canada, the US and Ghana, and will immerse you in Scripture, real-life stories and teaching that will enhance your life and ministry. Others instructors are, Dr. Jon Thompson (Author of “Convergence “and “Deliverance,” senior Pastor of Sanctus Church, Canada), Beth Graf (Author, Spiritual life coach), Daniel Levy (Pastor, New Life Church, Dublin, US), Rev. Dr. George Wilfred Arthur (Bible teacher, Itinerant speaker, mentor) among many others...
B. Three Group discussions (in-person):
The training sessions are spaced out over a few weeks for a number of reasons 1) Firstly, to make room for your busy schedules as leaders. 2) Secondly, the weeks without a Monday evening training session is an opportunity for smaller in-person groups to meet to pray and discuss content. Therefore in the weeks following the first three sessions, meaning, week May 8th-13th, May 22nd-27th and June 5th-10th (for residents in Canada/ North America (EST time zone), and May 15th-20th, May 29-2nd June and June 12th-16th (for residents in Ghana/UK (GMT time zone) there will be opportunities to join small in-person and online groups of leaders (in Ghana, Canada, the UK, and the US), discussing the practical implications of the content discussed the previous week.This strategic discussion component is designed to strengthen students’ awareness of the Holy Spirit in life, vocation, and ministry as you discuss session contents and handouts with other Christians.

C. Related Events
As part of this renewal training experience, you also have an opportunity to participate in a Worship and Prayer gathering organized by the River of Life Fellowship International in Guelph on Fri-sun, June 23-25, and a one-day spiritual renewal retreat in August. Details and registrations for both events will be discussed during the training program.
