A balanced life, as taught by the ancient philosopher Plato, is the continuous development of a sound mind in a sound body. Through this ideal, Sigma Phi Epsilon strives to establish its members as leaders who appreciate the purpose of academics, health, and a commitment to servant leadership both on campus and in the greater community.
During the 2018-2019 academic year, SigEp will award over $225,000 at 200 campuses across the country through the Balanced Man Scholarship. This fall at the University of Oregon, we are excited to announce SigEp will award one $1000 scholarship and two $500 scholarships to individuals who best exemplify the Balanced Man ideal.
To qualify, you must have a minimum 3.3 cumulative GPA, submit an application by September 19th, 2018, and be enrolled full-time at the University of Oregon for the Fall 2018 term. Applicants have no obligation to join or affiliate with SigEp to be eligible for the scholarship.
Applicants will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Should you have any questions, please contact:
