2026 Registration:                                      Assessment for the World Language Proficiency Certificate and Bilingual Seals

This form is to register for an assessment of your reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in a language other than English to qualify for a Minnesota Bilingual Seal award. You will be able to take this assessment at your school during the school day in Semester 2. 

If you wish to take more than one language assessment, please complete a separate registration form for each language. 

Minnesota State Law requires Minnesota State Colleges and Universities to grant free college credits (8-20 credits) when students qualify for a World Language Proficiency Certificate or Bilingual Seal through assessment. The award is documented on your SPPS transcripts to be shared with college advisors upon graduation.

Please bring the following to your testing room:
  * your FULLY-CHARGED school iPad
  * water or snacks if you desire
