Willing Spirits - flexible.
Help with short term projects on an as-needed basis. You'll be added to a list and notified when a need arises. This volunteer opportunity offers complete flexibility as you can pick and choose when you're available to volunteer.

Student Registration: August 13-14, 2020.
Over 200 volunteers assist students in the registration process. We need lots of help to ensure all families have a positive, smooth, and efficient registration. Consider this as a great opportunity to connect with fellow parents and get tips and ideas about navigating the high school years. Different shifts available.

Dances - Homecoming Dance is September 26, 2020- Spring Dance is March 20, 2021.
Decorate (before dance), check-in/check-out students (during dance), set up /serve/clean up refreshments. Both morning and evening shifts available.

Senior Celebration - Weekend of April 17, 2021. Adult Planners Wanted.
Senior Celebration 2021– Volunteer parents are needed from all grade levels as over 300 parents are needed to make this amazing event special for our seniors. Whether you want a small role or love event planning, learn more about creating this unbelievable party. We have lots of opportunities: working the games, helping in the kitchen, coordinating volunteers, checking in students, and creating photo collages. Parents of all grade levels are encouraged to get a sneak peak of this memorable event. Contact: Email

School Store throughout the year.
Staff the School Store where students can purchase school supplies, spiritwear and other NNHS items. Before school from 7:00 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. and/or during lunch periods 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Historian Committee - You pick times and volunteer from home.
Clip newspaper articles celebrating “any-and-all things-NNHS” to submit to a scrapbook displayed in the front office.

Coffee with the Principal - dates TBD
Informal conversations in the evening with the principal in the Learning Commons at NNHS. Support the event as needed. Dates to be determined.

Refreshment Donor - Throughout the year.
Donate store-bought snacks for school events & Literacy Center as needed.

Teacher Breakfasts - October 8, 2020 & February 22, 2021.
Set up, serve and clean-up the catered breakfast for teachers before Parent-Teacher conferences. Early morning shifts.

Vision & Hearing Screening - November 6 and November 19, 2020.
Help with some paperwork and ushering students. Both dates have morning and afternoon shifts available.

Blood Drives - November 12, 2020 and February 25, 2021.
Register donors, serve snacks, and help as needed. Morning and afternoon shifts available.

Family Connection- flexible.
This committee seeks to meet the essential needs of NNHS families facing hardships by providing temporary support. Volunteers can make donations to meet the needs.

Tour Guide- flexible.
Show your Huskie pride by giving tours to prospective Huskie families around Naperville North. You'll receive training and then use a detailed script to usher parents and/or new students around the school highlighting all NNHS offers.

Parent Guide - Work from home, focus is May till June.
Work with NNHS administration to update the Parent Guide and other publications as needed.

Mailings - July and as needed.
Assemble various packages of registration materials in July and other materials as needed during the school year.
