Fall 2018 Balanced Man Scholarship Application
Are you a University of Massachusetts-Amherst male student who believes in the ideals of having a Sound Mind and Sound Body? Are you looking for a scholarship that recognizes your achievements inside and outside of the classroom? Sigma Phi Epsilon is offering over $1,000 in Balanced Man Scholarships.

The Balanced Man Scholarship rewards students who have shown academic excellence, leadership skills, and a commitment to their health and well-being. At the Massachusetts Alpha Chapter at UMass Amherst, SigEp believes that recognizing students who demonstrate balance and all-around excellence is one way to promote this important idea. We are committed to helping our members develop the skills they need to succeed in the classroom, future careers, and everyday life.

Awards will be presented at the Balanced Man Scholarship Banquet during the fall semester of 2018.

There is no requirement of joining the fraternity in order to be eligible to apply or win the scholarship. The application deadline is September 10, 2018 -- take the 15 minutes to apply now!

If you have any questions about the scholarship or the fraternity, please don't hesitate to contact our President, Thomas Phillips (taphillips@umass.edu) or our Balanced Man Scholarship chairmen, Billy Galipeau (wgalipeau@umass.edu) and Matt Oteri (moteri@umass.edu).

If you would like to speak with a past recipient of the scholarship don't hesitate to reach out and we can connect you with one of the balanced men we gave our grand prize to last year.
