Ultimate Fishing Adventure

South Dakota is loaded with many different ways to spend time on the water catching fish.  Year round there is a new hot bite to chase and a different method of take to learn.  In the Ultimate Fishing Experience, new and experienced anglers are welcome to jump into a cohort of people at any point in the year and stick with the program to try all opportunities available.  Participants will fill out an application and will be invited to the next opportunity.  Each season quarter offers a meet and greet to kick of the next quarter of skills to learn about gear, regulations and fishing strategies.  Open for application for individual adults or families. Youth must be 12 years or older.   


Jan-March  

  • Ice fishing 

  • Dark House Spearing 

  • Cooking fish 

April-June

  • Missouri River Trip 

  • Shore Fishing 

  • Spearfishing 

July-Sept

  • Fly Fishing 

  • Catfishing 

  • Spearing 

  • Boat Fishing 

Oct-Dec 

  • Fly fishing 

  • Shore fishing 

  • Ice Fishing 

The requirements to participate in this program are as listed:
• Must meet South Dakota residency status
• Must meet the definition of a novice 
• Must be 12 yrs old or older and adults will participate right along side their youth.
Participants must by a fishing license
