Bungendore Harvest Festival’s Market Day, Saturday 27th April 2019

Event Organiser: Southern Harvest Association ( https://southernharvest.org.au/ )

Location: the streets of Bungendore, NSW

Set up: 8am - 9:30am. Stall holders not in place by 930am may be denied access to the site.
Market time: 10am - 4pm.
Pack down from 4pm. Stall holders may not pack up prior to 4pm.

Description: The Bungendore Harvest Festival is an annual celebration of local, cold climate food, drink and fibre. It explores how produce is grown in this region, where it is grown, where consumers may access it, how to prepare it, use it, eat it and drink it. The Festival occurs across a weekend to encourage overnight visitors to the region. On the Saturday, the streets of Bungendore will come alive with market stalls, talks, demonstrations, short courses and festive activities.

The Bungendore Harvest Festival encourages and promotes the integrity and freshness of the region's produce. The festival actively promotes food, farming and fibre related businesses. Market stalls are welcomed from farmers and producers growing, sourcing and producing within the Southern Harvest Region. This could include food and drink made, grown and sourced within region, arts and crafts from local fibres, and value added produce from local harvest. We also welcome demonstrations, info stalls from community organisations and harvest themed activities. Non-food businesses and organisations are encouraged to have stalls to promote food and agriculture related products and services.

Any fresh produce sold must be PRODUCED BY THE STALL HOLDER, WITHIN THE SOUTHERN HARVEST REGION. Visit http://southernharvest.org.au/about for a map of the Southern Harvest region. Value-added products are accepted; locally sourced ingredients are strongly encouraged.
