2020 John Rivera Technology Mini-Grant
CUELA is proud to announce the John Rivera Technology Mini-Grant to support CUELA members interested in developing inspiring and innovative applications of technology in the classroom based on the California Common Core Standards.

John Rivera, former CUELA Board President and innovative educator, modeled effective teaching practices in the use of technology in the classroom. The CUELA Technology Mini-Grant Award was John's idea to help promote the use of technology in the classroom and to assist innovative classroom teachers to acquire technology for use in their classrooms.

Grant winners will be notified in January and publicly announced at the CUELA Palooza in January 2020. If selected, grant winners should be present at CUELA Palooza to receive their award and will provide CUELA with a summary of successful outcomes based on their objectives. Grant winners will present at the CUELA Annual Event 2021 and send photos of their project being used by students. CUELA may post winning project photos on the CUELA webpage or in promotional materials.
