GLC Public Art Community Input

To commemorate the 2005-06 opening of the Graduate Life Center and celebrate graduate education at Virginia Tech, the Graduate School is spearheading the creation of a public art installation in the vicinity of the GLC to:

  • Recognize the importance of graduate education at Virginia Tech and the contributions of the Graduate School and graduate students to the missions of the university;
  • Celebrate the creativity, strength, and endurance of the graduate community; and
  • Highlight the many and varied talents of graduate students
We invite the active involvement of current graduate students, graduate alumni, and other friends of graduate education in the planning process. To help the planning committee and artist(s), please share your input by answering any or all of the prompts in this short questionnaire.
