We ask visitors to enter to Puʻuhonua O Waiʻanae with compassion, aloha, and a desire to connect and understand. These are the core values of POW, taught to us by our Mama, Twinkle Borge. Please know that you are entering our neighborhood and our homes. Some of our residents have experienced trauma, instability, and long-term hardship and may struggle to take care of themselves or their area as a result. We do our best, as a village, to care for those who cannot always care for themselves, and we ask you to work with us in that same spirit.

Finally, we ask you to help us keep everyone safe by coming equipped with covered shoes with thick soles, long pants, gardening gloves, hat, sunscreen, and water.  Children 12 and up are welcomed to join.
