The 2023 annual New York City Labor Day Parade is fast approaching, and PEF needs
your proven leadership and organizing skills. To be successful, we also
need people to help recruit members to participate by having one-on-one
conversations, texting and calling fellow members.
Labor Day Parades are nationwide events when Americans pause to pay tribute to workers like you for your collective contributions to the economic strength, prosperity, and well-being of this country. It is also a time for workers to demonstrate their commitment to fair
labor standards.
This year we expect Gov. Hochul will walk in the parade. We need her to see the power of PEF everywhere! We'll have plenty of signs and noisemakers available and need PEF members to show up and make your voice heard. This is your chance to be visible and show solidarity with union leadership and our Contract Team.
Location/Time:
We would like members to show up starting at 9am as per the guidance from the CLC the parade will start at 10 am. Our staging area this time will be located at Assembly Location: West 44th St. between 6th Ave. & Broadway.
We will supply noise makes, and T-shirts for everyone that is marching this year!
