The Lancaster County Democratic Party is powered by a dedicated team of volunteers who are committed to advancing our values and electing Democrats who will fight for working families. Whether you're a seasoned political activist or just getting started, we need your help!

By volunteering with the LCDP, you'll have the opportunity to work on various exciting projects and initiatives, from canvassing and phone banking to event planning and social media management. Plus, your time and skills will help us maintain a healthy balance and rotation of volunteers to minimize burnout and keep our efforts going strong.

Committee Descriptions *

Technology and Digital Integration Committee: This Committee tackles everything digitally with the party. If you have A/V Skills, website expertise, are handy at data analysis, data entry, copywriting, coding, or other technical skills, this is the committee that needs you.

Membership and Activities Committee: This Committee is key to volunteer and community engagement. If you have ever organized a block party, organized a food drive, or hosted a large gathering, as well as experience in building a diverse and engaged community, this committee is for you. Other skills apply to this committee: Data management, graphic design, photography, marketing, and publicity,

Fundraising Committee: This committee ensures we have money to elect democrats. This committee plans and organizes the four major fundraisers and maintains and manages a sustaining donor list. If you have any experience with data management, marketing, publicity, graphic design, music, art, photography, copywriting, event planning, budgeting, and social media usage (Tiktok, Instagram, Twitter), this committee needs you.

Campaigns Committee: This committee conducts events and coordinates services and resources for candidates, elected officials, and potential candidates for public office. Ever wondered how to run for office or how to recruit someone to run? Want to ensure that we elect solid democrats who care about the community they live in to public office? If you have any interest in data management, data analysis, or hosting events, are great at networking, and know how to plan, this is the committee for you.

Office Management Committee: This committee keeps our office running like a well-oiled machine. If you love organizing and keeping things on track, this is your spot. From greeting visitors and answering phones to preparing postcard packets and phone banking kits, this team makes sure our volunteers have everything they need. Skills like organization, attention to detail, and data entry are all valuable here.
