Thank you for your interest in auditioning for Elektra – A Throne Restored  
Elektra – A Throne Restored tells the gripping story of a woman determined to reclaim the throne of Mycenae and restore royal legitimacy after her father’s death. But at what cost? Torn between love and duty, Elektra must navigate a web of betrayal, political division, and generational conflict. This isn’t just a story—it’s a powerful reflection of our world today. In a society riddled with division, Elektra opens the dialogue on understanding opposing perspectives, grappling with the complexities of power, and confronting the price of change. 

Auditions will take place on Wed 12th February from 12:00-14:15pm @ KCL Strand Campus.

Auditions will take the form of a self-tape and workshop. 
If we are oversubscribed, we may add a second workshop later in the afternoon, so make sure you factor that into your availability. 

Please complete this form by Thursday 6th February to tell us a bit about yourself and your availability over the coming months. Please note that the Greek Play is a greatly rewarding but quite demanding process, requiring the cast to become familiar with passages of original Greek as well as perform in English. That said, you do not need to have any prior knowledge of ancient Greek myth or language to audition, many of our most talented cast members have not been classicists! Just bear in mind the time and energy commitment required and make sure you check the rehearsal schedule before you commit!

Rehearsals usually take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with an intensive week from 14th-18th April.
