What is involved?
  1. We will be planting trees in Avoca Valley, accessed from Duncan Park. It is a 15 minute walk to the planting site.
  2. If you are driving, please park at the entrance to Duncan Park and follow the signs to the planting site.
  3. This is a steep site and there are a number of natural hazards, including uneven terrain, rocks and under-runners. The grass has grown long and it may be slippery in places.
  4. Please dress for the conditions - we recommend layers, good tramping or walking shoes, a jacket and a hat.
  5. A full H&S briefing including what to wear and bring will be sent by email a couple of days prior.
  6. If the weather is poor, we will postpone.
  7. Please contact Bill Martin manager@summitroadsociety.org.nz , text 027 389 0030 with any queries.
