Aerodynamics:
We design, simulate, and build the aerodynamic package of the car. You can expect to learn about CFD simulation, CAD, and how to work with carbon

Autonomous Software:
We develop, test, and integrate the software stack and infrastructure for our autonomous car. This includes the whole onboard pipeline with perception, planning, localization, mapping, stateestimation, control, and actuation, but also sensor/hardware integration, simulation, servers and the different stages of our testing setup and deployment to the car's onboard hardware.

Chassis:
The Chassis Team is responsible for the primary structure of the car. Hence, our main focus is the design and manufacturing of the Monocoque of the car. Further, the Chassis Subteam has many contact points with the other subteams, since the're many interfaces with every one of the other assemblies.

Electric Powertrain:
We develop and test our self-designed circuirboards for the high voltage system of our car. We primarily deal with everything connected the High voltage system, for example Accumulator, Inverter and Electric Machine. Here you learn how to design and work with high voltage systems in the car.

Electronics:
We develop, programm and test our self-designed circuitboards for the low voltage system of our car. The low voltage system contains the electrical control unit, dashboard, sensors, steering wheel electronics, wiring harness and much more.

Management and Communications:
The team organises everything except the construction of the car itself. We organise events like the Christmas party, the competitions and the rollout, design the team clothing, connect with new and old sponsors and are responsible for the social media accounts of TUfast.

Suspension:
The Suspension subteam is responsible for everything that moves (that should move) in the car. That means everything between wheel and chassis, the mechanical parts of the drivetrain, the Steeringsystem and Pedalbox. We are the classical Mechanical Engineers in the team, we work with the greatest variety of materials, aluminium, steel, titanium and cfrp just to name a few. If you are interested in designing complicated subsystems with many parts which have to be coordinated with every subteam, apply to a job in the suspension subteam.

Statics:
we are responsible for the static events of the competition For the costing tasks it is essential to work closely with all other sub-teams and to get to know the car very well. For the business plan you have to find opportunities to use the car in a business you might develop.

Vehicle Dynamics:
We simulate the car and the interaction between the components; and implement the control systems like Torque Vectoring. You can expect to learn how to create a lap time simulation, a suspension ride model, analyze data, or implement a Torque Vectoring system.
